The Brief
A boutique hotel in Chiang Mai required 60 matching lounge chairs and 30 ottomans for guest rooms and common areas. Consistent quality across all units was the primary requirement.
How We Approached It
The client needed units that looked identical across 60 deliveries — a fundamental challenge in upholstery production that requires strict material and process control.
We sourced a single batch of performance bouclé in warm sand to guarantee colour and texture consistency across all pieces. Every chair was cut from the same fabric roll sequence to avoid dye-lot variation.
The foam specification was 45kg/m³ high-resilience — chosen for durability in a commercial setting where pieces are used daily by multiple guests. Softer residential-grade foam would have compressed unevenly within 12 months.
All 60 chairs and 30 ottomans were delivered to site in a single shipment, wrapped and labelled by room number for the installation team.
